DBIA RMR - Town of Morrison Water Reclamation Facility Tour

07/31/2013 - 2-4 pm

This project includes design-build services to provide new 0.28 MGD SBR treatment facilities, headworks, and UV system. This new plant will provide better effluent compliance and the ability for staged future expansion of the water reclamation facility. This project is being built concurrently with existing plant operations unhindered. Construction began in the fall of 2012 and will be complete by fall of 2013. This is a complimentary tour.

The Design-Build Institute of America, Rocky Mountain Region (DBIA RMR) invites you to submit your successful design-build project(s) for our 2013 Annual DBIA RMR Design-Build Project Awards competition.

To be considered for a Regional Design-Build Award, projects must demonstrate successful application of design-build principles and contracting method, including collaboration in the early stages of the project and the acceptance of single-entity risk. The project must be completed on time, on budget and without litigation. Winning projects are honored for advanced and innovative application of total integrated project delivery and unique solutions to project challenges.

Judging will take place in November 2013 by a jury of industry experts, including owners, design-builders, architects and engineers.

Awards will be presented during the 2013 Annual DBIA RMR Awards Banquet and Annual Members Meeting on Thursday, December 12, 2013. This physical award will be engraved with the project name, category and team name. Additional awards specifying the owner, engineer, architect or other team members may be purchased after the award ceremony through DBIA RMR.

The Design Build Institute of America invites you to participate in its second National Design-Build Student Competition. Unlike other student competitions, DBIA’s design-build competition will mirror best practices in actual design-build project delivery by breaking the competition into a two-phase process.
